“Geneva-based company EXLTERRA unveils very promising results in reducing radioactive contamination at Chernobyl”
One year after installing its NSPS technology on a 1Ha plot of land located in the Chernobyl exclusion zone, the Geneva-based company Exlterra will present, the results measured in the field by SSE Ecocentre, the Ukrainian state agency in charge of monitoring environmental radiation in the Chernobyl exclusion zone. A very significant reduction in radioactivity has already been achieved after one year of installation of this revolutionary technology. The goal is to achieve total remediation by 2024 at latest. These results open up extremely promising prospects for the decontamination and remediation of polluted land, in order to make it viable again. A solution achieved without chemical devices and without condemning or moving the contaminated soil.
Frank Müller, CEO of Exlterra, will also present the multiple application of two other technologies already on the market, GEPS and NEPS, which have been proven to regenerate and balance soil fertility and plant health, and to optimize drainage and water management. Several independent scientific studies in the United States, Switzerland and Poland are being conducted in parallel with these applications.
