The Geneva Centre for Neutrality is pleased to invite you to a press briefing on Friday, June 27 at 4:30 PM, following the “Neutrality Colloquium: A Call to Action for Active Neutrality & World Peace”, held on June 26–27 at the Ferme Pictet in Troinex, Geneva.
This briefing will present the key outcomes and conclusions of the colloquium, which brings together academics, researchers, diplomats, and peace advocates from across five continents. Organized in collaboration with a global coalition of peace networks and research institutions — including the Colombia Peace Agreement, Geneva Center for Neutrality, Global Veterans Peace Network (GVPN), REDIPAZ, the International Peace Bureau, the Transnational Institute, and World BEYOND War — the event marks a significant step toward the International Congress on Neutrality 2026, which is being considered for Geneva.
Three main outcomes will be presented:
- A Public Declaration on Modern Neutrality, outlining the principles of active neutrality as a tool for global peace and resilience
- An Action Agenda, providing short-, medium-, and long-term recommendations to the UN, the EU, and national governments — particularly those in areas of geopolitical tension
- The launch of an International Network of Neutrality Actors, a new platform for collaboration among research institutions, governmental bodies, and civil society actors worldwide
The Colloquium will take place from June 26 to 27. More Information & Registration for Upcoming Events: https://genevaneutrality.ch/en/content/news, https://worldbeyondwar.org/geneva/
