In 1999, the International Labour Organization (ILO) introduced the concept of decent work, equivalent to “productive work in conditions of freedom, equity, security and human dignity”. At a time of upheaval in the employment field, felt in all latitudes, due in particular to the economic crisis, the use of new technologies and artificial intelligence, is decent, well-paid work in danger? What can be done to save gainful employment in the public and private sectors in the short, medium and long term? What is at stake when it comes to work? How can we combat the precariousness that threatens the well-being of citizens at both national and international level? At the Swiss Press Club, two leading experts in the field will discuss these important issues and offer food for thought.

Meeting followed by an exchange with the public and an aperitif.
