The International Hospital Federation (IHF) is an international not for profit, non-governmental membership organization. Its 41st World Hospital Congress (WHC) will take place on November 6-9, 2017 at the Taipei International Convention Centre, and will tackle the theme “Patient-friendly & Smarter Healthcare”. This global forum will gather healthcare leaders and representatives of national healthcare organizations from about 30 countries.
In accordance with the theme of this year, topics like innovations in health services delivery models, professionalization of healthcare management and benefits and challenges of using new technologies will be covered by the IHF members.
Over the years, hospitals in Taiwan have put tremendous time and effort into creating a better healing space for the populace. Aside from professional medical experts, cutting-edge medical technologies and assets are also crucial to providing professional care as well as comfort and warmth. With its high quality healthcare and world-leading ICT applications, the host country is to share its experiences in adopting new technologies to improve health services outcomes.
