After the publication of his first books on linguistics, Noam Chomsky became a prominent critic of the Vietnam War, and since then, he has continued to publish books of political criticism. His latest publications are Failed States, The Abuse of Power and The Assault on Democracy and Hegemony or Survival.
Chomsky is considered a major intellectual figure of the contemporary world, both admired and controversial. Several books and documentaries have been devoted to him.
He will talk about the American policy in the Middle East and the changes which have occurred during these last months in the Arab world, without forgetting of course the Iranian issue.
