The situation of freedom of opinion and expression in Yemen and violations against the press and journalists

“The pen is more dangerous than the weapon.” This is how the Houthis describe Press and Media, as journalists in Yemen are subjected to numerous violations aimed to scare the journalists. This symposium will present the state of freedom of expression in Yemen, which will listen to the testimony of released journalists who have been imprisoned in Houthi prisons for more than 5 and a half years.
