As war once again rages in several countries in the Middle East, how can humanitarian organizations provide assistance to civilian populations and work in the field, particularly in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran, to help them amid bombardments and drone strikes involving the Israeli, American, and Iranian armies as well as Hezbollah militias?
Representatives of Médecins sans frontières, Terre des Hommes, Handicap International and Caritas will share their testimonies at the Geneva Press Club, following the Israeli Supreme Court’s decision on February 27 to grant a reprieve to 37 NGOs that the Israeli government had ordered to cease their activities in Gaza and the occupied West Bank starting March 1, with the aim of imposing strict control over Palestinian staff working for international organizations.
The event will be held in French and English.
