Journalists killed in the EU: No to Impunity
Journalists killed in the EU: No to Impunity
On October 16, 2017 the journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia was murdered in Malta. It’s very important that not only the people who are guilty of murdering Daphne Caruana Galizia, but also those who commissioned the murder are punished appropriately. Her sons Matthew and Andrew are in Geneva in order to receive the Prize for the protection of journalists awarded by the Press Emblem Campaign (PEC) each year. They will speak about their mother’s work, the fight against impunity, and the freedom of the press.
