« Ignoring the voice of the southern people is a violation of human dignity »
Before the unification with North Yemen in May 1990, the South Yemen was a member of the United Nations and its people benefited of their independent state. The unification of both nations resulted to an occupation of the southern territories by the army force of the north. This led to an armed war against the people of the south subjected to all kinds of persecution.
