GESDA gathers its high-level academic and diplomacy panels to leverage anticipatory science advances and address emerging global challenges in an innovative way

Press release of GESDA

Dear media representatives,

The Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator (GESDA) is a new foundation created in Geneva by the Swiss Federal Council and the Canton and City of Geneva, and dedicated to science diplomacy. This initiative with a global outlook and reach will leverage both International Geneva’s ecosystem and well-recognized science and innovation worldwide for the benefit of the planet and its inhabitants.

GESDA brings together, from around the world, people from four communities with different mindsets – Academic, Diplomatic, Impact and Citizens. Together, based on possible science and technology advances that have been identified, they accelerate the development and implementation of impactful solutions to emerging challenges.
