International Geneva must reinvent itself. The world’s leading center in terms of concentration of meetings, experts as well as the presence of international organizations and NGOs, International Geneva is a major asset for Switzerland, giving it political weight and undeniable influence. But competition is getting dangerously close to Geneva, and the UN and its agencies are facing serious financial difficulties. How can International Geneva take the initiative to stem the risk of marginalization?
