The panel will begin with Swiss politician Anwar Mehmood Rehman discussing the integration of the Ahmadi diaspora compared to the challenges they face in Pakistan. Tommy Kallon, President of the Pan-African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, will then highlight the community’s role in connecting the Indian and Black worlds through Pan-Africanism.
In the second part, Carl-Gustav Bjertnes and Eric Niragira will explore opportunities from ethnic conflicts in the African Great Lakes Region. Dr. Rubin Zemon will discuss African-Balkan partnerships, focusing on diaspora and minority recognition. Joel Hakizimana will present a petition for a summit on the Swiss African Diaspora, while Federica Onori will speak on minority rights in Italy. Moderator Abdel Aziz Muhamat will conclude the session.
