Covering digital in the media: What are the stakes ?

At a time of high-speed digitalization in all fields of activity, it is no longer enough to be a “good journalist ” to cover this highly complex subject. Technology and digitalization cover and intersect extremely diverse fields of knowledge.  Moreover, this topic has become very sensitive politically since it has a considerable impact on the functioning of the State, especially on the modes of governance. So how do the media cover technology and digitization in our societies, do they have the means and skills to ensure quality information in this field ? These are some of the questions that will be debated during this panel organized by Geneva Internet Platform in partnership with the Geneva Press Club.
