INTERNATIONAL JOURNALISM PRIZES
— CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS —
DEADLINE LOOMING
Migrants flooding over borders, overcrowded refugee camps, rampant human rights abuses and a rush to rein in a deadly epidemic, but also international trade wars, nuclear arms control, rules governing the Internet and international labour rules: If you as a journalist have covered any of these topics over the past year, you have likely reported on work done by United Nations agencies and other international organisations based in Geneva.
If so, your work could be eligible for two new international journalism awards.
The Association of Correspondents Accredited to the United Nations in Geneva has, in the run-up to its 70th anniversary next February, created The ACANU Prize for Excellence in Reporting and the ACANU Prize for Reporting on Human Rights Issues.
Text, radio and broadcast submissions are welcome from journalists around the world, and in any language, as long as a translation to English or French is provided.
Please check ACANU’s website (www.acanu.ch) for details and conditions and to submit your work.
DEADLINE: DECEMBER 1, 2018 |
